Nokia Set to Re-Launch Its Iconic 3310 Handset, Photos and details

All hail Nokia! You’ve got it to give to the brand: The Nokia phones of yesteryear may not have been powerful or given you a DSLR-like camera. But they worked just fine, and lasted. And the Nokia 3310 was a handset that

captured all that was great about the brand.

Now it seems HMD, the brand which is giving Nokia a second lease of life, is likely to launch another version of the Nokia’s 3310 in a new avatar.

The company has reportedly filed Nokias 3310 in its mobile listing, which means the legendary phone with the epic Snake game could be back in our lives very soon. And aren’t we all excited!

Nokias will be making its mobile comeback at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona later this month, and let’s hope that the 3310 is part of the announcement.

Our wish list includes that the Nokia 3310 must be a hard nut to track, should support dual SIM, and definitely give us back the good old days where 10 days of battery life wasn’t a miracle. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it?

THE Nokia 3310 is coming back from the dead, and a concept designer thinks they know what the must-have handset will end up looking like.

Ever since news broke that the iconic mobile was being remade, Nokia’s fans have been excitedly waiting to see what the reborn phone would look like.

And although details about the 3310‘s return haven’t been released yet, a design studio has taken a stab at what the reborn handset will probably look like.

Concept Creator released a video showcasing a vision of the upcoming Nokia phone, which is a throwback to a simpler time when Snake was the only app anyone ever needed.

And with a long-lasting battery and unbreakable casing, it’s not hard to see why people would look back in time when choosing their next mobile.

This unofficial concept video imagines a phone which stays true to the original mobile’s style and simplicity, with only minor tweaks to reflect the changes in mobile technology since the 3310’s heyday.

The video envisages only a couple of key changes to the original Nokia 3310, including the addition of an LED screen and a camera.

These changes mean the handset may end up being slightly chunkier than it used to be, although with an estimated £50 price point it still won’t break the bank.

With the iPhones and Android phones barely managing to last a day or two at best, could Nokia be the saviour that the world has been praying for? We don’t know if this is just a rumour, all we’d say is, bring it already, Nokia!
