World Cup 2018 draw: Nigeria to play Argentina in Group D-Check out full draws

Today’s draw, held inside the Kremlin, pitted England and Belgium in the same group as Tunisia and Panama. Danny Drinkwater will also hope to be involved in Gareth Southgate’s squad.

Belgium v England is the final group game and will take place in Kaliningrad.

Spanish continent will face an Iberian derby with Portugal their first fixture. Morocco and Iran complete Group B, recognized as the most favorable from a travelling perspective.

There is a potential Chelsea meeting in Group C where Andreas Christensen’s Denmark will play France, who could feature N’Golo Kante and Tiemoue Bakayoko. Australia and Peru are the other two teams in that group.

Nigeria, for whom Victor Moses, Ola Aina and Kenneth Omeruo are possible Chelsea representatives, have been drawn in a tough group alongside regular World Cup foes Argentina, debutants Iceland and also Croatia. Mario Pasalic, currently on loan at Spartak Moscow, will hope to be in the East European’s squad.

Brazil are one of the favourites for the tournament and they will meet Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia. Holders Germany and Toni Rudiger have games against Mexico, Sweden and South Korea to look forward to.

Groups A and H are the only ones without Chelsea interest. The tournament starts on 14 June 2018.
