They seem so happy.” Deeba said with a satisfied smile on her lips, looking at the happy couple, as they raced past her into the darkness— a husband and his wife.
“Happiness lies for those who cry,” Maulana uncle said with a sober smile as he came to join her. “Those who’ve been hurt, those who have searched and those who have tried. For only they can appreciate the importance of the people who have touched their lives.”
“Our plan did work well.” Deeba smiled.
“Our plan?” Maulana uncle repeated, smiling back at her. “Allah’s plan worked well. Only He joins the hearts.”
“But why does one have to go through failures, sufferings, pain, sorrows and all that?”
“That’s a part of your life. God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.”
“I never ever saw such a person who was so much disappointed from his life…and now here he is…enjoying life and its pleasures to their fullest.” Deeba said happily, there were tears of gladness in her eyes.
“Disappointments are like road humps, they slow you down a bit but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards. Never let yesterday’s disappointments overshadow tomorrow’s dreams.” Finishing his sentence, Maulana uncle gave her a truly fabulous smile and then motioned her to walk beside him.
“Don’t stay on the humps too long. Move on!”
“But Maulana uncle… how did you find her?”
Before answering, he took a long breath and then said,
“Aariz Ali had told me that she had showed her interest toward teaching in an Islamic school. So it was just an idea to start working upon. In the beginning, I was not very much sure myself. I contacted all major Islamic schools related with her ‘specific’ religious community. I began to search for all newly appointed female teachers in such schools. It was not that easy. As due to their religious nature, and professional code of conduct, they keep all new entries of teachers and students strictly confidential. But since I was a teacher myself, and gave a genuine reason that I am searching for my long-lost elder daughter, they did provide me some hints and tips, like they have recently appointed a new teacher, ‘Hijaab Zehra’, age twenty-two in AhleBait’s school of Islam, and that’s where I saw her for the first time.”
“That must be tough. Wasn’t it?”
“It was not so easy.” He agreed. ”But Allah always creates resources and sources…links and contacts through which we could find our ultimate way. Accordingly, you came into the scene…you wanted to learn more about Islam, what could teach you about Islam more than AhleBait’s School of Islam? So I decided to tell you to join ‘A S I’.”
“Do you know uncle?” She lowered her head, as she took few steps forward. “Sometimes, I really feel down because of the things I have done back in the past. God…I was a complete ignorant…”
“When you feel down because you didn’t get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because God is thinking of something better to give you.” Maulana uncle replied in a soft, touchy tone.
“Yes…” Deeba said excitedly. “That’s so true. He gave me ultimately what I always wanted, the true glorious path, a way of light…and spiritual satisfaction.” She cried huskily. “A dream come true, for me.”
“You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true.”
“But doesn’t it feel like a dream?” Deeba waved her hand toward Aariz and Zeest, who were now too absorbed in each other to notice them. “How he got her again? That’s so unbelievable.”
“When you think you have no chance at getting what you want, you probably won’t get it, but if you believe in yourself, you probably sooner or later will get it.” Maulana uncle told her soberly.
“Always remember daughter,” He closed his eyes for an instant. “When something happens to you, good or bad, consider what it means. There’s a purpose to life’s events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard.”
“Well… she finally made him love her. That’s her victory.” Deeba sighed, straightening herself up.
“You can’t make someone love you,” Maulana uncle refused calmly. “All you can do is be someone who can be loved, the rest is up to the person to realize your worth.”
“I wonder sometimes, how could he let her go like this?” Deeba questioned, curious. “I mean it must not be so easy for him.”
“There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind, but keep in
mind letting go isn’t the end of the world. It’s the beginning of a new life.”
“It’s so weird.” Deeba closed her eyes for a second and exclaimed. “And yet so amazing that how he was going to kill himself one day and now here he is… full of life and activity.”
“Yes.” Maulana uncle nodded thoughtfully. “He tried his best to re-achieve what he’d lost. He was not a loser so didn’t try to commit suicide again. The strongest people are not those who always win but those who stand back up when they fall.”
“But it was not so easy for him” Deeba said. “As first he had to lose his pride and false ego which was continuously stopping him from taking a right step.”
“Yes…” Maulana uncle gave her short answer. “That’s the key. It’s better to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of pride.”
“Tell me uncle,” Deeba said curiously, walking side by side with him. “Can we measure the intensity of love?”
“Well,” He sighed contentedly, then said. “The measure of love is when you love without measure. In life there are very rare chances that you’ll meet the person you love and loves you in return. So once you have it don’t ever let go, the chance might never come your way again.”
“You’re so right.” Deeba said sentimentally. “We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already Love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.”
“But…is it possible to fall in love twice?” It was Deeba last question, as she stopped and looked at him with all of her senses active and alive to hear the answer of her most thoughtful question.
He stopped with her to give her another broad smile. “Yes, it’s possible.”
“You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it”.
The bedroom was beautifully furnished in a Middle Eastern decor of thick rugs and wall hangings, pillows on the floor, silk tapestries, and fine furniture. In the center of the room was a large over sized waterbed, covered with rich satin sheets of soft emerald green with matching pillows. All the light in the room was indirect, with no real source, an illumination both soft and muted. Double glass doors, the drapes of which were pulled back just enough, added the light of a full moon to the surrealistic setting.
It was a room asking to be filled with love.
It was a home begging to be filled with children and laughter.
Freshly showered, Zeest walked silently to the room, bare feet and Aariz gasped as he looked at her from head to toe. He’d seen her hair before but hadn’t seen her lower limbs. He felt lucky to be able to see such a glamorous sight. So attractive were her legs that he thought that she must not come out into the open – else her feet would get dirty and soiled.
Aariz’s eyes were transfixed as soon as his eyes fell on the rest of her body and what he saw was sufficient to make him speechless. The more had he been trying to take off his eyes from the lovely sight, more bewitched were his eyes by the magnificent beauty.
“May I say how beautiful you’re tonight?” He murmured slowly in a deep, low voice.
“You’re a beautiful sight for sore eyes.” He added as he stepped forward to give her a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers.
His words made her heart sing and her face warmed with pleasure.
“Thank you for these lovely roses.” Her fingertips lightly brushed the delicate petals.
“But how did you remember it was my birthday today?” She was surprised pleasantly.
“I remember each and everything about you.” He gazed lovingly into her big eyes.
“Alright, if today is my birthday then where’s my gift?” She raised her brows, smiling softly.
“Here. This is your present!” He came to stand fully in front of her.
“I’m your gift.” He whispered.
“The best gift I could ever have.” She replied breathlessly.
He then reached his hand and lightly stroked a strand of her silky black hair.
“So beautiful and so untouched.” He said softly.
On his slightest touch, flames began to emit from her lovely face, which turned totally scarlet, as all the blood of her body had been accumulated on her face then. Her breathing became rapid and her heart began to pound heavily.
“But, I was thinking…” He left his sentence unfinished.
“How could you feel any attraction for me when all I’ve ever done is insult?”
“You’re my ‘husband’.” She said delicately. “Isn’t that enough reason to get attracted toward you?”
“But,” He opened his lips to argue.
Zeest put her finger on her husband’s lips and said, “Shhh. I want to.”
Suddenly, there seemed to be nothing left to say. Their eyes met and clung. The flush on her cheeks deepened. It was the way he was looking at her that did it. An ache developed deep inside her. Their eyes met and locked for a long time. They were “fair speechless messages” through their bright and eloquent eyes. Neither moved. Neither spoke, neither had to. A silent language sizzling with all unspoken stories, skittered and flashed between them with the power to lit a fuse.
When real love is dawned between two hearts, one feels the inarticulate words of the other by his or her own passion. Accordingly, a wild and ringing sensation generated in those two loving hearts, which spread perfect bliss all through their lovely bodies through billions of nerves via the roads and highways of arteries and veins of their bodies.
Suddenly, he wanted her so much that he was in pain.
He got closer.
Giving him a strange grin, she stepped back.
He stepped forward.
She was surprised at the way the pounding of her heartbeat echoed in her ears, her own voice echoed in the room, the breathing…
She took another step back.
“Are…you…seducing…me?” Aariz’s heart was beating so fast that he could hardly speak.
“What do you think,” She gave him another teasing smile.
“OK, I’m a mature man, but just don’t expect my control to be limitless.”
“What control,” She licked her parted, dry lips with a fine swift of the shiny tip of her wet tongue.
That did it for him.
Without saying any further word, he scooped her up into his arms and carried her to their mutual destination.
“Let me get all natural,” She whispered in a mysterious voice as he made her stand near the bed.
Aariz swallowed and stared at her breathlessly.
Slowly, she let her hand undo the knot and let the materialistic covering separating them fall on the thick Persian carpet.
As his eyes roamed over her, Aariz’s breath stopped. He thought so much beauty could make him blind, and yet, he forgot to take his eyes away. She had some particular ‘uniqueness’in her body; something different that only a veiled girl can bear, when she comes to her ‘all-natural’ form. Everything about her looked so fresh, so genuine, so real, and so exciting.
As he looked at his wife’s beautiful figure with his unblinking eyes, she could detect that love was written everywhere on that flaming face.
They stood there for another few moments, listening to the beating of their hearts. He was about to take his first step toward her when she stopped him gently.
“Wait,” She raised her hand. “Just a second.”
“In the name of ‘Allah’,” She smiled heavenly. “The most gracious, the most merciful.”
A happy wave of pride and joy coursed through Aariz’s whole body. His dear wife hadn’t forgotten ‘Allah’ even in those moments when most people become senseless.
“Let’s pray first.” She looked deeply into his desire-filled eyes. “May Allah bless us with all the love and joy under the holy shelter of dear holy Prophet and his progeny.” She spoke very softly but smoothly.
Aariz prayed and repeated the same words in silence.
She breathed as her voice went husky. Closing her eyes, she gasped in teetering anticipation as he removed the distance between them.
This time, he knew, he had to touch her, had to hold her.
He placed his hands on her shoulders, gently, closing the distance between them.
Coming to her then, sensually bathed in the surreal shadows of moonlight and the satin cream of
desire, he drew her in his arms.
Their palms met and their fingers intertwined.
With the fingers of his right hand Aariz began to run and skim the flushed face lightly and, when his fingers reached the trembling lips of his wife, she severed the lips inviting the finger inside her mouth.
“Good God.” He murmured and closed his eyes to feel a moment of intense pleasure.
His face was now so close to hers, she caught her breath and held it. Unable to meet his eyes, Zeest’s eyes rested on his neck.
“I love your lips, so enticing, so vulnerable.” He told her admiringly.
“I see,” She blushed. “What else do you love about me, by the way?”
“Many things.” He grinned soberly. “Want me to prove?”
Smiling, she gave him a nod.
“The way your hair always smell good even if it?s without a shampoo.” He inhaled deeply, stroking her hair lightly in gentle comfort. He then pulled the clip from her hair and let the curls drop softly to her shoulders, running his fingers through her hair.
“By the way, I love your hair.”
Startled, she looked up at him. “It has been falling rapidly…”
“I don’t care.” He cut in softly. “I love it because it belongs to you.”
”I love you for the way your head always find the right spot on my shoulder.” His hand reached up to caress her hair some more as she tapped her head to his shoulder.
He placed one hand by her black hair while he used the other to touch her forehead, tracing her eyebrow down to her heated cheek and her chin.
”I love you for how cute you look when you sleep.” His long slender fingers played very gently with her long lashes.
A soft moan escaped the parted lips as the hand traveled lower, down to her collar bone, her skin filled in the memory of texture, soft and smooth; like silk. Once again the sensation of delayed touch took her and she felt Goosebumps arise on her neck.
”I love you for the ease in which you fit into our arms.” He took her into his arms then.
She smiled shyly, showing a set of perfect white teeth through those moist and red lips.
”And… I love you for the way you smile and all of a sudden everything is right in the world.” His index finger played softly with her parted lips, rubbing them with exquisite gentleness.
”I love you for how cute you are when you breathe.” He breathed into her ear, warm and tickling. His breath felt as tender and warm as an infant’s breath.
”I love you because you’re always warm even when it’s freezing outside.” Hard male lips grazed her cheek. And then his cheek, with an enticing hint of after-shave, caressed hers. She moved her cheek against the hardness of his and then dropped her head to his shoulder. It felt so safe there.
”I love you for the way you look good no matter what you wear.” His hands then touched the skin of her waist.
There was a sharp intake of breath from her and she snuggled closer to him.
“I love the way you fall into my arms when you cry.” He added.
“My turn now,” She smiled and held him closer to her heart.
”I love you for how cute you’re when you argue.” She told him with her eyes closed, like she was talking in her sleep.
”The way your hand always finds mine.” She took his hard, male hand into her soft, female one.
”And I love the way you smile.” She smiled shyly as she reached up and traced his lips with her fingers.
”Even the way you get mad at me and expect it to hurt.” Zeest gave in to temptation and allowed her fingers to stroke away the frown lines on Aariz’s brow.
”Then the way you apologize when it does hurt.” She said, her lips parting to allow her tongue free access to her upper lip.
Aariz was speechless, breathless at the moment.
”I love the way you say ‘I missed you’.” She coiled her fingers behind his neck.
”And I love the way you miss me.” Her hands slid lower to feel the muscles of his smooth back.
“My turn again,” He smiled softly and turned to stand behind her, with her back resting on his chest.
”I love the way your tears make me want to change the world so that it doesn’t hurt anymore.” He began again, brushing his lips against her cheek from behind. The odor of the shaving foam he had used invaded her nostrils, along with the distinctly masculine scent of his body, and she caught her breath.
“I love you, when I look you in the eyes, travelling to the depths of your soul and you say a million things without trace of a sound.” He murmured against her skin, sliding his lips along the nape of her neck, the warmth of his breath stimulating her nerve endings as he dragged his mouth to a temple. His touch was gentle and perfect.
“I love you when I know that my own life is inevitably consumed within the rhythmic beatings of your very heart.” Lightly, he brushed his wife’s hair away from a soft ear.
”I love you for a million reasons, no word would do it justice.” His lips touched over a smooth shoulder, a soft, butterfly- like feathery touch, pure sensation, sheer pleasure, and complete ecstasy.
“It is a thing not of the mind,” He was not finished yet, his voice felt like pure silk. “But of the heart, a feeling only felt.”
“Just being with you, my wife, my life—” He buried his face in the warm curve where her neck met her shoulder.
“I know,” She breathed huskily, her throat dry, her mind pleasure-clotted.
“It’s everything.” He touched his lips to his wife’s skin in a way that raised her arousal to new heights once more.
Unable to control her feeling any longer, she twisted and turned back to find his body only inches away from hers. He’d leaned close. His cologne filled her nostrils and her body sang with remembrance. She swallowed hard, wondering whether she’d died and gone to heaven or whether Aariz Ali, the man she loved with all her heart and mind, was actually at her side.
He brought the fingers of his right hand and ran it horizontally across the quivering lips of her very slowly, feeling the rich velvet-softness of those lips. Her lips grazed the palm of his hand.
Slowly, she raised her own hand to savour his texture. Her warm hand cupping his cheek made Aariz smile. He touched his wife’s palm with his lips, holding the hand and moving it to rest over his heart.
She couldn’t remember him taking off his glasses, but somehow he was without them. His skin had a faint tinge of pinkness too, seen so close, and her nostril savored the scent of the man himself, a scent that had nothing to do with the aftershave or perfume, but was the very essence of him.
His lips touched the tip of her nose delicately. With soft butterfly brushes of his lips, he closed her eyes and sentenced her to a world of sensation. Her fingers curled into the hard muscles of his arms, clinging to him as she felt a strange weightlessness envelop her.
Oh yes … yes, maybe this was the night!
“So sweet, so fragrant, so delicate.” Aariz was whispering, his mouth moving towards the hollow of her throat. The touch sent electric tingles through her body.
“Love to feel you.” His lips were now touching the pulsating length of her neck, as she tossed her head back, the outline of her feminine jaw. His lips then touched her chin and he felt like he was in paradise, breathing in the scent of her perfume, and loving the softness of her chin on his lips. He then moved down and brushed his mouth to her breastbone, hearing the rhythm of her breathing, soft and fast. Next, when he leaned down and touched his mouth to the nape of her neck, she shuddered with delicious sensations. Her fingers spread behind his head, caressing his neck. His touch was tender, soft, and sensuous and felt as soft as expensive velvet.
Her arms tightened about his neck, and she lifted her lips for his response.
Their eyelids descended with the distance between their lips.
Eyes closed, she waited.
He slid his hand to her shoulder and then cupped her neck. He pressed and then skimmed his thumb along her bottom lip.
“You’re exquisite.” He whispered.
The pulse at her throat quickened, her lips apart, her eyes closed.
Then, he lifted her face and lightly, his lips touched her chin again, a fleeting touch, just a brush of mouth.
“Thank you for coming into my life.” He murmured against the softness of her lips.
She moaned, clutching at the soft hair at his nape. Light-headed, she was aware only of the soft demand of male lips, of powerful arms wound possessively around her. Nothing else mattered.
A beautiful expression, Aariz could clearly saw, flitted across Zeest’s face, which left a blushing mark on her face making it more radiant. Her eyes were closed, lips were trembling and a wonderful expression of love settled on the face. As soon as he felt that the change was due to him only, he felt an immense sense of pride.
Although the air inside the bedroom was not so hot, perspiration now covered both spouses’ faces.
“Lovely,” Moving his lips to her ear, he breathed into it.
She responded, like an adult mature woman is supposed to respond. But her response and reaction was different. There was nothing like other ‘experienced’ girls who learn ‘love tactics’ from the movies and media. She was a woman, but she was a veiled girl too. That’s why every act of hers had an exciting innocence and virgin experience. She caressed his skin with the elegance and finesse that only a true veiled girl knows, who has kept her eyes holy, by keeping them away from the dirty scenes of today’s movies.
Her arms rose involuntarily to his neck and she pulled him closer. As she pressed her bosom to his chest, he could feel her heart beating wildly, his own beats mixing with her, and the two hearts began to beat rhythmically in union.
To Zeest, it was as if she had turned the key in the door to paradise. She moaned softly, barely audible to even herself. Her hands tenderly caressed him as he snuggled to her. Enjoying the texture of the soft, smooth skin under her fingertips.
She used her own to explore him with her fingers feeling each hollow and plane in his broad back and on his chest. She moved closer, her soft fingertips brushing and playing with the fine, dark hair on his masculine chest. She laced her fingers through the cute, silky hair and sighed with contentment.
Her hands tenderly caressed him as he snuggled to her. Enjoying the texture of the soft, smooth skin under her fingertips. She touched him passionately, feeling the kind of devotion that only a veiled girl can feel for her husband.
“You’re like a soft, fragrant flower— your hair, your skin…umm,” His lips brushed the dewy skin of her shoulder and threaded his fingers through her hair, brushing it away from her face.
She moaned softly, barely audible to even herself.
“You smell heavenly.” He smelled the fragrant bouquet of feminine aroma rising from her heated body.
The touch of his hands, the brush of his lips raised her, taking her to the sky, exploding nerve endings deep inside her in a way she had never experienced before. Fire filled her veins as she threaded her hands through his hair to bind him close. She seemed to be ringed by flame feelings surging through her like a bush fire, as she felt herself going down in the heat of it.
The sounds of their mingled breathing, the twinkling sounds of her bangles, the romantic whispers, the provocative panting of restraint and the cries of the wind combined to create a music more moving than any orchestra. The powerful beating of two hearts in unison underscored the symphony. It was simply a wonderful and fantastic atmosphere.
That night, Aariz and Zeest became as much close as husband wife could be, making up for lost time. They both wrote new alphabets of passion, creating the history of love from ‘A’ to ‘Z’ and sinking into a sea of ecstasy they never wanted to climb out of.
