Welcome to another exciting episode of ChattingDMC, today is one guy of multiple talents, talents money can’t buy, he’s a comedian, an actor, the young man who always act old man in Yoruba Nollywood films. The popular Baba Alariya, talks about the journey and how no one gets bored around him. Here is the short interview.
Let us meet you. Whos Baba Alariya?
Baba Alariya is Adeyemo Adelere Oluwafemi. I was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs Adeyemo and I am the second to last born.
How did you discover yourself as an actor?
It all started from my primary school days… When a group was created by my school proprietor Late Soji Ogunlade then called choral group. We acts, sings and anything that has to do with entertainment then. So I later join the church drama group in 2002..
You an actor, TV host, also a comedian,?
Because No dulling moment anytime I’m with my friends, family and colleagues, I am someone who loves to have fun and my friends know full well that there’s no boring moment with Femi (now Baba Alariya). All this spurred me on to pursue a career in entertainment.
When did you start professionally?
I started as a backup comedian behind some yoruba presenter, and then later moved on with a known online radio station named tiwaRADIO.
What are that five things you can’t live without?
My phone, Internet, food, music, movies… Related to what give Gives me Inspirations.

What is your favorite TV show at the moment?
Well… The Teju BabyFace Show
If it is allowed… I love watching MTN project fame too.
Which actor would you most like to have a drink with,and why?
Oh! Bn with a lots of them tho, but at the moment I will say Kunle Afolayan… Because of his uniqueness in the game.
Whats your favorite work so far, a show? Or movie? Name them?
A lot of jobs that has given me a platforms… But there are 2 movies I participated recently, OKO JOGOO(Jogoo’s husband) Where I acted the role of a father to award winning Alh Olaniyi Afonja Sanyeri. And the second one is AGBA_AWO by Boss Kunle Afod, where I acted as a friend to Baba Ajirebi and Boss Muyiwa Adegoke (Londoner)
How do you handle a bad review of your work?
Well… It’s normal, I take it so simple. Not everyone would appreciate you at the end. But some bad reviews keep one growing…

Not always easy… They shouldn’t give up on themselves. The key is Prayer… #Prayerworks!
