I have started writing since i was six. Tomi Adesina

Tomi Adesina a Screenwriter and Fiction blogger.
Nationality: Nigerian

Books: Beautiful strangers, Fola king. Etc
Bowen University

Tell us about your process: Pen and Paper, computer,
notebooks … how do you write?

So, the process is interwoven; for my blog series – straight to the laptop from my head. Screenplays – I do the necessary treatment in my book before I get on with writing on the laptop.

When did you realize you we’re a writer?

Hmm, I guess that’s the only thing I have known how to do…in born. God given. Right from when I was about six or seven, if memory serves me well, I was creating my own stories in small books.

How do you handle a bad review of your work?

Any review is an opinion. Good or bad. And when I see something bad or negative, I try to sieve the truth in it because I am a critic of my work so I spend some time analysing what I do…so if the criticism falls in line, I could say that yes, this person is right, but If it’s a downright attack on me or my art because the person wants to be a troll or a bad critic, I won’t process it because I don’t think negativity is healthy. Constructive criticism is ideal and if that’s not what I am getting, then I’m not having any attack on my person or my art.
Which writer would you most like to have a drink with,
and why?
I don’t particularly have any writer in mind, but maybe Francine Rivers. I love what she did with her Novel “Redeeming Love” and I would want to know what sparked up that inspiration for her. Brilliant book. Amazing writer!
What is your favorite TV show at the moment?
I’m having a tough choice there. Blacklist and Suits. They are on a break right now though.

If I was to turn on your ipod right now, what five artists/songs
would I see on your recently played list?

Birdy. Asa. Brymo. Ed Sheeran. Jesus Culture. For the songs, Tjan – Aduke, Brymo – Again, Jesus Culture ft Kim Walker – Unstoppable Love, Brymo – Dear Child, Jordin Sparks ft Todrick Hall – Water Guns

What do you want the world to know about you? Make it
juicy ….
That I’m just a girl that God loves and he made a writer and I write so that someday that the whole world might read.

Thanks for your time, thanks for welcoming us, lastly whats the quote you live by? And your advice to people who might want to be a writer ?

Quote: In reading, you’ll see…it’s imagination – Tomi Adesina.
Advice – Just write

Can you list 2 to 3 of your best work so far?
I consider every work as important as the last but of any work has had a great impact on me, it would be “Beautiful Stranger” It was my first cancer themed series and I enjoyed it due to the personal angle for me and research put into it.
